The picdrop Manifesto
Your creative work is not for sale. Period.

picdrop was founded by a photographer and a designer. We know how it feels when someone else uses your work without asking. It’s frustrating. It’s unfair. And it’s just wrong.
At picdrop, we build tools for creatives. Not business models on them. That’s why, since day one, we’ve built picdrop with one simple but very important rule:
Your work stays yours. Always.
Here’s what that means for us and for you:
How we treat your files
- We don't sell your work.
- We don’t license your work to others.
- We don’t use your files to train AI. (Unless you one day say yes for a feature that helps you. But that’s your call, not ours.)
- We are relentlessly working to keep your work safe.
How we treat you
- We’re honest. Always.
- If we mess up (and it happens), we do everything we can to fix it and learn from it.
- We are best, when we are invisible. We don’t make money off your name, your brand, or your client relationships.
- We keep improving picdrop, every single day.
How we’d like to be treated
- You provide us with constructive feedback on how we can improve.
- You do pay for our work. It helps us keep doing what we do - for you.
- You don’t use picdrop for anything shady, illegal, or dangerous.
- Be kind. Send chocolate!
That’s it.
We’re a file sharing and feedback tool. No tricks. No gotchas.
Just mutual respect.
