However, in some special cases it may be helpful to know which characters picdrop supports when naming your galleries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You&nbsp;<strong>can use<\/strong>&nbsp;the following characters in your picdrop gallery names without any problems:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A-Z (lower &amp; uppercase)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00e4\u00f6\u00fc (lower &amp; upper case)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>0-9<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>_ &#8211; ( ) .<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As well as spaces if they are not at the beginning or end of the gallery name<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following characters are&nbsp;<strong>automatically converted or reduced<\/strong>&nbsp;by picdrop into your gallery name:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>You enter<\/em>: &amp; or +&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<em>&nbsp; picdrop<\/em>&nbsp;changes to: und<br><em>You enter<\/em>&nbsp;in: \u00df&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<em>&nbsp;picdrop<\/em>&nbsp;changes to: ss<br><em>You enter<\/em>: \u00e1&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<em>picdrop<\/em>&nbsp;changes to: a (letters with diacritical characters are reduced to the basic letters if possible &#8211; with the exception of German umlauts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All other special characters in the gallery name are&nbsp;<strong>not supported<\/strong>&nbsp;by picdrop and&nbsp;<strong>will be removed&nbsp;<\/strong>from your gallery name.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":18,"template":"","faq-category":[28],"class_list":["post-529","faq","type-faq","status-publish","hentry","faq-category-general"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Which Characters Are Allowed in picdrop Gallery Names? - FAQ<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Learn which characters picdrop supports in gallery names, including letters, numbers, umlauts, and symbols.
